You start at 20% commission on the actual amount RankNow.ai receives (after discounts and taxes). High-volume affiliates can negotiate recurring commissions on every renewal — meaning a single referral can pay you for months or years.
How are sales tracked?
Each approved affiliate gets a unique tracking link (e.g. ranknow.ai/?ref=ALEX) and a Stripe-backed promo code. Either path attributes the sale to you. The cookie lasts 30 days, so even if a visitor doesn't buy immediately, you still get credit if they convert later.
When do I get paid?
Commissions clear after a 30-day refund window. Once cleared, request a payout from your dashboard — minimum $50 USD. Paid monthly via PayPal or Wise (Stripe Connect coming for some regions).
Can I create custom promo codes?
Yes — up to 10 active codes at a time, each with its own redemption analytics. Pick a code that fits your brand (ALEX20, NEWSLETTER, BLACKFRIDAY) and split your total rate between commission and customer discount any way you like.
What about refunds?
If a customer refunds within the 30-day hold period, the commission is automatically clawed back. After the hold passes, refunds don't affect already-approved commissions — your earnings are locked in.
Can I use my own affiliate code on my own purchase?
No. Stripe restricts affiliate codes to first-time customers, and we additionally block matches against your own account email and workspace. Self-referral commissions are never paid out.
Do I need to be a RankNow.ai customer to apply?
